A Trip To the Moon is a great piece of art that utilizes VR technologies to showcase the imaginary vision of the moon by using elements from greek mythologies and science.  The way that this piece was made feels as if players are physically walking into a piece of art. Being able to look closely at each piece presented within the VR experience seems to be a great way to showcase the art in each object. The future of art can change because of VR technologies, allowing the audience to step within each piece for fully immersive experiences that combine visual elements, sounds, and atmosphere. This is an important step for artists to take in order to present their ideas and visions to the fullest extent. This type of exhibit is becoming more common and popular among modern artists. In the future, it may be interesting to visit fully VR museums that allow us to connect with art to the next level.

As mentioned in many prior chapters, the joy of trial and error continues to fulfill the everlasting curiosities of audiences and players in movies, games, and other digital mediums. Single-player adventure game "12 Minutes", released in 2021, takes place solely in a small rectangular apartment from a top-down perspective. As indicated in the game title, the game loops in intervals of 10-12 minutes, revolving around a male protagonist who is stuck in the time loop. The game forces players to make decisions and perform various actions to unveil a story every time the time loop throws them back to the beginning. The concept of agency has always had a unique grip on the audience, whether it be a play or a game, the audience has endless curiosity towards the unknown. The impact that a player can make on games affects how immersive the gaming environment is. The success of players'-choice games shows the significance of allowing impactful choices that determine the outcome and consequences. Games makers occasionally mistake the quantities of choices with how impactful the choices are. Dialogues and timed choices are offered to the player but most of them don't lead to any consequences. Such choices can be tedious for players as they don't see the purpose in making a choice since the story remains the same no matter their choices.       Open-world games continue to garner players' interest due to the endlessly expandable space. Role-playing adventure games such as GTA and Yakuza have endless replayability due to their open-world mechanics and the freedom that players are given t...

In the world of augmented reality, immersion is a critical factor in the way the experience is perceived by players and users. The experience in AR itself relies on how immersive the environment is. How the world is presented in the interface of technological devices determines the perception of the experience intended by creators. This concept of perception of augmented realities has become a huge opportunity for not only video games but also non-virtual environments like amusement parks as well. As mentioned in this chapter, Jurassic Park rides have begun to progress into virtual experiences with the use of AR elements. Riders are able to have realistic experiences that mimics scenes from movies. The Nintendo Wii is also a play-on immersion that extends beyond the keyboard and cell phones. Being able to move on the screen with a Wii remote control in a 3-D space, the Wii allows players to play various different sports from the comfort of their own homes.  As 3D technologies developments advance, we are exposed to such a way of storytelling and experiences in an increasing number of ways. Virtual games nowadays allow us to build "dream houses" with virtual furnishings and landscapes to live lives very different from our own. Gaming experiences are enhanced with the growing technologies that allow us to unleash our creativity in virtual lives. The game "Second Life", similar to The Sims series, allows players to freely create their own virtual homes and avatar appearances. However, Second Life allows chat and multiplayer modes that further simulate real life. Being able to virtually spend time with friends or strangers in a 3D virtual environment intensifies players' gaming experiences by creating a wide variety of possibilities in custom storytelling.
